Independent Sales Representative (Manufacturer’s Rep) – Training & Precision Manufacturing


Help our customers take a new look at Augmented Reality. SPEX™ has reimagined AR into a tool that brings Super Vision to exciting new Augmented Reality applications in training, product assembly & distribution, security, and medicine.

We are looking for an Independent Sales Representative with OEM experience to join our team and be responsible for opening new OEM and partnership opportunities in training, precision manufacturing, warehousing and logistics applications for the SPEX™ family of Bioptic Tilt wearable display products, within the U.S. and Canada.

SPEX provides enhanced vision through a 21.5 Megapixel camera, with up to 24x magnification, in a lightweight, all-day wearable form factor, with the options of immersive 2D or 3D viewing, or augmented reality that does not obscure your native vision, providing increased accuracy, efficiency and safety in precision assembly or mobile process monitoring and control. Bi-directional streaming of video and voice over IP combined with the ability to remotely control what the wearer sees through the camera, including the ability to capture the experience on video, or as still images, at any magnification, even with mixed reality images present, make SPEX an unsurpassed training tool.

More About This Role:

You will bring your knowledge of OEM technology sales and the personal drive to develop and close large business opportunities. With your background in successfully envisioning and communicating technical solutions, you have Fortune 1,000 connections that can get you in front of decision makers.

As a prime candidate for the Independent Sales Representative (commission only) role you have:

· 10+ years of successful B2B sales of technology products to major manufacturers, distributors or transport and logistics suppliers

· 7+ years of demonstrable sales of technology to training organizations within the Fortune 1,000 (Experience selling AR/VR products is highly desired, but not required)

· Demonstrable experience in creating and achieving sales territory plans

· Proven closing skills for complex projects and implementations

· Strategic sales experience

· Strong presentational skills for large and small audiences

· Experience with CRM reporting (Salesforce, Pipedrive or equivalent)

  • The ability to work remotely

As an integral part of the SPEX Business Development team you will share in the team’s success, with a generous commission plan. Working directly for the Vice President of Business Development, you will work remotely from your home or office with in the U.S., with 50% or more travel anticipated.
